(57)【要約】 【課題】高い電池出力を起動初期から長期間にわたり安 定して得ることのできる固体高分子型燃料電池用膜電極 接合体の製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】イオン交換膜からなる固体高分子電解質膜 の両面に触媒とイオン交換樹脂を含む触媒層を有する電 極が接合されてなる固体高分子型燃料電池用膜電極接合 体の製造方法であって、イオン交換膜の両面に触媒層を 配設して接合した後、得られた接合体を例えば不活性ガ ス雰囲気中など酸素が遮断された環境下で60〜240 ℃にて5秒以上加熱処理する。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a membrane electrode laminat ed body for a solid polymer fuel cell capable of stably providing high cell output from a start for a long time. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the membrane electrode laminated body for the solid polymer fuel cell is that an electrode having a catalyst layer containing a catalyst and ion exchange resin is jointed onto both surfaces of a solid polymer electrolyte membrane comprising an ion exchange membrane, and after a catalyst layer is laminated onto the both surface of the ion exchange membrane, the obtained laminated body is heat treated at 60-240 deg.C for 5 seconds or more under an environment where oxygen is shut off such as in an inert gas atmosphere.
